Nobel Symposium
December 15, 2010
Parking map
You are invited to learn about the award winning works and the people who made those outstanding contributions in their field! From silliness to Nobel Prizes, it’s all celebrated! U of S Chemistry, Economics, Literature, Medicine and Physics professors and graduate students are ready to discuss the best of the bunch, including the winners of:
- The Nobel Prizes
- The Abel Prize in Math
- The Ig Nobel Prizes—for all that's goofy and imaginative
This year you can also win your own Nobel Prize! To enter this competition you need to make a 5 minute video presentation about the work and life of a Nobel Prize winner you find truly inspirational. The award winning entry will receive an iPAD, generously donated by the President of the University of Saskatchewan, and have their film premiered at the symposium. For details of the contest, contact Ms. Lydia Jackson, Lydia.jackson@usask.ca.
There is no charge to attend this event. Pizza and pop are provided.
The Nobel Symposium 2010 is presented by KEEN.
