The Agriculture Building is a beautiful, post-modern structure which
contains 164 research labs, 38 teaching labs, 182 staff offices, 9
classrooms, 4 computer training centres, 6 conference rooms and 167
controlled environment plant growth facilities. Construction on the
building began in 1988 and the last floor was opened in 2000. The
building and contents cost $92 million; it is a state-of-the-art teaching
and research facility.
Opposite the Agriculture building sits the Western College of Veterinary
Medicine.
