Accommodations for International Students
Finding accommodation in Saskatoon is an important step in the process
as you prepare to come to Canada. There are two main options for U
of S students:
- Campus Residence
- Off-Campus housing
Some Important Tips
- Make sure you apply
early for accommodation. Campus residences often have long waiting
lists.
- Meal preferences are a big factor in determining where our international
students choose to live. Whether you prefer served meals or cooking
for yourself, you will need to know which residences come with
meals included, and which come equipped with kitchen facilities.
- At the U of S there are many country-specific student
associations. These associations may be helpful in assisting
you with finding accommodation, especially if you are interested
in finding a roommate from your own country or culture.
- Finding permanent accommodation will be your responsibility.
If for some reason you arrive in Saskatoon without a place to
stay, the staff of the International Student Office (ISO) can
arrange temporary
accommodation for you.
