International Student Entrance Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships for international students. All three scholarships are one-time awards and are based on academic achievement.
Eligibility
By applying for undergraduate admission starting in September 2013, students will be eligible for consideration. The application deadline is February 15, 2013. Students must also supply the necessary supporting documents, pay the $90 CDN application fee and meet U of S admissions requirements (including English Language Proficiency) by March 15, 2013.
U of S International Excellence Awards
The University of Saskatchewan will award six scholarships valued at $10,000 CDN each for the 2013-14 academic year. International students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) entering any direct-entry college at the U of S will be considered for an International Excellence Award. Selection will be based on academic achievement.
Recipients are eligible to receive the International Student Entrance Scholarship in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Excellence Awards
The University of Saskatchewan will award four scholarships valued at $15,000 CDN each for the 2013-14 academic year. International students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) completing a full IB diploma entering any direct-entry college at the U of S will be considered for an IB Excellence Award. Selection will be based on academic achievement as presented by predicted/anticipated IB diploma scores.
Recipients are eligible to receive the International Baccalaureate Excellence Awards in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.
United World College (UWC) Excellence Awards
The University of Saskatchewan will award two scholarships valued at $20,000 CDN each for the 2013-14 academic year. International students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) completing a full IB diploma at one of the United World Colleges entering any direct-entry college at the U of S will be considered for an UWC Excellence Award. Selection will be based on academic achievement as presented by predicted/anticipated IB diploma scores.
Recipients are eligible to receive the United World College Excellence Awards in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.
