Making a Difference
Our engineering students have a reputation for helping out and supporting our local community, developing nations and everything in between.
Our students raise thousands for
local charities in creative ways. Really, who doesn't want to smush pie in the face of a favourite friend or prof? Our annual road hockey tournament, the High Voltage Classic, raises about $15,000 each year for charity and has been a tradition in the college for 25 years.
Our
SCI-FI Science Camps are your opportunity to bring big science to life for little engineers to be. As a student, you can become a teacher, helping children build LED-lit insects or join them in astronaut training for a day!
Whether it's clean water for the world, food for developing nations or sustainable energy supplies for those that don't have them, one of our many student groups,
Engineers Without Borders, is making a difference in devloping nations and winning national awards for their work.
