Grad Studies at the U of S
Graduate studies includes master's and doctorate degree study, which is taken after a significant period of undergraduate or bachelor's degree study. Admission to a master's program generally requires the following:
- a bachelor's degree (four year) or recognized equivalent from an accredited university-level institution
- a competitive academic standing based on country-specific admission requirements
- sufficient undergraduate background to carry out graduate work in a chosen field
- proof of English proficiency
Choice is abundant in the College of Graduate Studies and Research, offering over 71 master's programs and over 48 doctorate programs. With a range of programs to choose from and world-class research, it is no wonder almost 2,500 graduate students choose the U of S each year!
Funding opportunities are avalable to graduate students at the University of Saskatchewan, including scholarships, teaching fellowships, research assistantships and external scholarships.
